Good deal on a sharp knife
I was looking for a decent boning knife that wouldn't break the bank. Found a good price on the Delta Wolf Series Fillet Knife here. Good knife, minor shipping hiccup
I ordered the Gladiator Series 8 inch Chef Knife and overall, I'm pretty happy with it. The knife itself is very sharp and feels solid in hand, a good upgrade from my old one. Shipping took about 6 days to reach me in California, which was a bit longer than I hoped, but it arrived well-packaged. The customer service was responsive when I inquired about the tracking, so that was good. I do wish they had more detailed care instructions included in the box, had to look them up online. Still, good value for the price.
Got the Santoku, it's pretty good
Needed a new knife for chopping veggies and saw the Phantom Series Santoku. Figured I'd give it a shot. It got here pretty fast, like 4 days, which was nice. Used it tonight for dinner prep and it worked well, sliced up onions and carrots with no fuss. It feels good in my hand, not too heavy. The handle felt a little different than what I'm used to but I got used to it quick. Pretty happy with it, seems like it'll last.
